The Covid-19 pandemic has forever changed our civilization. Now regular and total sanitization is a mandatory standard. There are many technologies for this… but they all contain insurmountable shortcomings. Splashing a person outside wastes disinfectants, cleans only the exposed parts of clothing, and harms not only the sense of smell, but also the skin and clothing. The classic technology of washing with water, drying and ironing takes a lot of time and requires connection to communications: water supply, sewerage, electrical networks for drying. As a result, large utility bills will be added to the consumption of detergents. And almost all ordinary clothes and shoes are not designed for such processing. However… presentgreen has the perfect technology for a post-pandemic world!
It is proposed to introduce the concept of «clean zones», where you can go only through this biological gateway. Such a zone can be an office, industrial or administrative building, an educational institution, a hotel, a hospital, a multi-storey residential building with an adjacent territory, a street, and even a small village. The capacity of the plant is 15-20 people per hour. A person enters a heat and noise insulated container (designed for operation from +35 0С to -35 0С), removes and places clothes, shoes and any items that can carry a viral and (or) bacterial infection in a sealed container. In a minute, he can open the airtight door and get dressed. Liquid carbon dioxide in a closed circulation system is an even more effective detergent than those used in conventional washing machines. And the rate of its complete evaporation is less than the time it takes a person to remove washed items. Most ordinary fabrics do not require ironing afterwards and no residual odors remain. 100% safety of the system operation is ensured by automatic protection (passive and electromechanical).
In the maximum configuration, the installation can be completely autonomous, collect CO2 from the atmosphere using the «Paris Reactor» (http://presentgreen.com/i/), generate and accumulate energy for its own work using a heat pump (http://presentgreen.com/f/), solar reflector (http://presentgreen.com/c/), gas generator (http://presentgreen.com/b/), wind farm (http://presentgreen.com/d/). Other configuration options are also possible in terms of the energy source: the use of a large supply of carbon dioxide, power from an external power supply or a portable generator on an internal combustion engine (5 kW of installed power), an external supply of a standard coolant (water 700-900C) and the use of a chiller. The maximum cost of 1 wash using non-renewable energy sources and (or) the purchase of carbon dioxide will be $ 0.7-0.8 (for the EU). When working with renewable energy sources from the PRESENTGREEN line, the cost of operating the system is set to zero, and working in conjunction with a gas generator even allows you to earn money on the disposal of household, industrial or agricultural waste.
The cost of the plant together with a renewable energy source in serial production will be $14-16 thousand, however, as a by-product, it can also produce up to 100 m3 of oxygen per day. As you know, this is the most important consumable in the treatment of patients with Covid-19, which is not available in many medical institutions. This option will solve both the problem of modernizing the medical infrastructure and equipping other institutions with ventilators. A similar program of mass deployment of cardiac defibrillators in the United States (special state and federal laws passed) has reduced the average death rate from sudden cardiac arrest by 50% since 1994. Similar programs exist in Italy, Austria, Greece, Germany.
P.S. With the end of the pandemic, preparations for the next one begin!
